ECO RULES OF CONDUCT 

ECO - Elite Covert Operations has a long and respected history in the gaming community. This respect was earned over the years by our strict standards of what we are looking for in fellow ECO members when we invite them into our clan. ECO was first formed in 2001 by a bunch of guys playing Ghost Recon and going by the name SFC (Sargent First Class). These friends from different backgrounds, political views, religions, and countries came together to form what is commonly called a clan. After a short while of gaming together a few of SFC noticed that they had a different view of how a clan should be viewed and the standards that should be upheld and made the decision to break away from SFC and form their own clan, and this clan would be call Elite Covert Operations or ECO. This new clan with new ideas on how it wanted to be viewed by the on-line gaming community decided to make many changes. Changes which has caused this once small clan to turn into a force of fiercely competitive gamers from different countries who all have a love and respect for on-line gaming and the friends that have been made through this process. ECO with it's Fair Gaming & No Cheating policy has been our guiding force over the years. Since 2001 ECO has expanded into many other games and seen many Members come and go. Some leaving lasting impressions and some just passing through, but, ALL have had some small part in making us what we are today, and as we have always said..." We Have Nothing To Prove........We Are ECO" This stands true to this day, and we hope you will also have as much fun and enjoyment in being in ECO as the rest of the clan does.

 Conduct 

• ECO members respect each other regardless of their origin, nationality, age, gender, race, political , or religious beliefs. We are here to have fun gaming and not to judge anyone.
• ECO members respect all gamers in the same way as we would one of our own.
• ECO members show dignity, honor and integrity inside any game server being played in. When wearing the ECO TAG you are representing not just yourself, but the whole clan at all times. So treat everyone with respect.
• Disrespecting a Sr ECO Members is never tolerated
• ECO members will respect and uphold their Chain of Command.
• ECO members are required to wear their ECO tags in ventrilo, teamspeak, Xfire or in any other public venues.
• ECO members will not question ECO policies and regulations in public. They will instead use the members section of the forums to post their concerns or contact a Sr member. Your concerns will be addressed immediately.
• Any ECO member caught cheating at any time will be removed from ECO. We will not tolerate cheating under any circumstances!
• Good Sportsmanship behavior is mandatory. When it comes right down to it... It's just a game and we are all here to have fun. So there is no need to disrespect you opponents just because you lose a game.

(Always remember: out there, an ECO member is not perceived as an individual but as a ECO representative. Your conduct and behavior is always being judged by others and is used to build an opinion of the entire gaming clan.) 

Requirements To Join ECO 

• Recruits must be at least 18 years of age. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Sr Members
• At time of applying for ECO the recruit must not be in a active clan. ECO does not want to be accused of recruiting other clan members.
• Members are required to check into the website at least once a week. This is to ensure that any news about our clan or it's members can be found in the ECO members section of the forums or posted as news on the site. You will also find information about upcoming meetings, matches, new members, changes and other important information.
• If an ECO Member is going to be off-line for an extended period of time and knows this information in advance they are required to notify a Sr member with this information. We understand that Work & Family comes first and this will never have any impact on your status as an ECO member

Promotions & Website Positions

Promotions in Rank & Sr. Status will be handed out based on the following sorted principles:

• E) Performance
• F) Attendance

Website Positions will be assigned based on the following sorted principles:

• A) Dedication
• B) Priror experience
• C) Teamwork
• D) Experience with graphics
